About Me

I am a trans-nonbinary architect, performance artist, and photographer based in Oakland, CA. While I have been taking photos my entire life with hand-me-down cameras, I have been truly practicing the craft since 2016 when I was given my older siblings' old Canon Rebel T2i. I learned how to use DSLRs that summer at my last year of the fine arts camp that I attended in middle and high school, and have been fully hooked since. I used that camera all the way until I bought my Canon EOS 5D Mk IV in Spring 2023.I have been practicing flow arts and fire photography almost as long as I have been in the community when I joined it in Fall 2017. These photos started as part of the flow arts club I was a part of throughout college, and continued as something that I only did with friends for a few years after. In the beginning of 2025, I decided to start taking photos of the local fire jam and have now become a staple photographer of the community.

Photoshoot Commissions

I would love to work with you to provide for your next photography needs! I am currently available to book shoots after noon on Fridays or any time on Saturdays and Sundays.Payment is preferred through Venmo, but I can create invoices to allow for paying with a card. Cash and check are accepted only upon agreement. A $50 deposit is required to book with me, with payment expected the day of unless otherwise agreed to. Cancellations 48 hours in advance will be refunded, cancellations for emergencies will be refunded up to the day after. I am selectively open to art and service trades as payment, please contact me before booking if you are interested in this.RAW/Unedited images WILL NOT be provided unless part of a publication deal. All galleries provided include a print shop handled by Pixieset, I do not currently directly handle prints. Portraits - $350 per Session

Sessions last from 60 to 90 minutes on average depending on complexity. Expect nature and city photoshoots with multiple locations to last up to 2 hours.Portraits can be taken of individuals, couples, and trios. We can discuss any additional fees, timelines, and number of photos provided for groups of 4 or more.Let's make art together! I am here to help you fulfill your dream photoshoot and look stunning while doing so. I do everything from standard modeled portraits, flow arts and circus, to fire portraits. Kink and boudoir photoshoots are also available, but require additional communication ahead of time to establish comfort and trust between us.Two of my housemates, Ella and Brandon, act as my photography assistants, and one of them will typically be helping me. I also highly recommend bringing a friend along to cheer you on and help!

LOCATIONS
I am based in Oakland and am available to shoot in San Francisco and around the East Bay area. Shoots can be done in my home living room studio, your home, in the city, or in nature, depending on your vision. I can help you decide on a location based on your goals for the photoshoot. Studio bookings are the responsibility of the client, but I can help find and coordinate those as needed. Note: Clients that are booking a fire photoshoot are expected to provide a suitable location as part of the booking.My home studio includes hardwood floors, a beautiful couch and ottoman, and a dance pole. I am currently able to provide white and black backdrops. Please note that we own a cat.THE PROCESS
After you submit your request with my Portrait Booking Form, which will ask you several questions about the shoot, I will reach out to you to finalize a shoot day or ask any questions. Once booked, I will help you flesh out your idea, come up with an outfit and poses, finalize the location if necessary, and otherwise generally help you get ready. On the day of, we will do some warm-up shots and then I will help guide you through poses as we go through the planned shoot.After the photoshoot, I will provide a gallery link to preview images (usually about 20) for you to choose 10 of to get fully edited. Additional edited photos are $25 each. Once the photos are chosen, I will get the final images to you usually within 2 weeks.Note: Clients booking for fire are required to provide their own equipment and fuel. It is suggested to bring a friend to act as a safety.

Events & Performances - $250+

Base price set for events up to 2 hours. Additional charges may occur depending on the length and scope of the event. I am willing to work on a price to fit your budget.Let me capture the memories at your next event so you don't have to worry about it! I greatly enjoy taking photos of events, sneaking around to capture all the little moments.I am available to shoot weekend events & performances in San Francisco and around the East Bay. Shows, parties, and more.During the event, I focus on candid moments and gathering decoration images beyond just the main attractions. After the event, I will deliver a whole gallery of professionally chosen and edited images, ready to share with your guests, or to selectively choose from for your social media posts. Full sized, non-watermarked images will be delivered separately in compressed files for website and marketing use.You can see a previous event gallery HERE.

Weddings & Engagements

I would love to share in your special day and help you immortalize the memories. Please contact me to discuss the details in order to secure a quote, as the scope of work will greatly impact cost.I am able to provide help in creating mood boards for the look of the photos, desired shot lists, orchestrating specific shoot moments day of, and more.All photos will be provided in a personalized gallery that is immediately shareable with friends and family. The gallery includes access to buying prints and personalized photo albums. Full sized, non-watermarked images will be delivered separately in compressed files.

Terms of Service

Photographs are taken and edited by Tezra Robertson, with all rights to the images maintained by them. Full rights to photos taken is an additional charge. All photos are subject to be included in their portfolio or Instagram unless requested otherwise.Crediting/tagging them by name or their Instagram @tzr_photos when posting online is required. Instagram Collaboration posts are appreciated.Photos may not be edited or altered in any way with the intent to post online without permission.DO NOT use AI programs to edit or alter any images. Directly feeding AI models is in violation of Tezra's copyright.
